Last Night I took my laptop to a family dinner. [It was at a Chinese restaurant and I don't eat Chinese food]
Don’t worry, I kept it under wraps until after dinner was served. But then I was showing some of my cousins some videos I had on here. They loved it.
Then we got crazy. We did a quick video blog [just screwing around], we took several hilarious pictures with photobooth. Then we editted our video. Then we went to Keynote and I got to try it out for the first time. In 10 minutes I had the best presentation that I had ever done. And it was all random crap. We got to put some pictures on it, some songs, and the video we just made. It’s so easy and simple.
Mac’s are awesome. I did more with stock software in 20 minutes than I did in 10 years with a PC. My case has been answered.

Is amazing.
Yesterday, I synced up my phone to my computer. Now all my numbers are on both. I feel awesome.
I love technology.
I’m sick and tired of seeing these super innovative blogs such as One Red Paperclip where someone traded up from a single paperclip and got a house within a year.
It’s time for me to put the internet to work for me. I need a job. I graduated college a few months ago and I’m looking for that dream job. I would love to work in the tech field, the gaming industry, or some sort of advertising/promotions company.
Is this going to happen overnight? No way. I need to make this blog actually worth reading besides my rambles about my personal life. Of course it IS a personal blog so don’t expect it to go away, I just need to add other content to it. Then maybe people like the Scobleizer will link to me.
Yesterday Apple held it’s WWDC where they unveiled Leapord for the first time. Being a Mac fan for several years, and just now making the switch, I was excited to see something about the OS.
It looks nice, I really think that iChat will be a big hit now that you can give presentations through it. That’s amazing. I love the fact that you can custom make your own widgets as well. I love having Mail and iCal all working together. However, there was nothing HUGE that everyone was expecting. Apple seemed too intent on making Vista comparisons and not about their own product. Which is unlike them. We all know that Vista is a rip-off of Apple’s Tiger OS. Of course with their own upgrades and such. Apple has made their money with leading the pack and not caring that everyone copies them. They didn’t do this yesterday and that’s why everyone was [slightly] disappointed.
Don’t get me wrong, Leapord looks outstanding and Apple still stands at the top of my lists of companies I want to work for. I just wanted to hear about the next-gen iPod. I wanted to go “WOW” and have my jaw hit the ground.
It’s like waiting for Christmas and opening up all the gifts and only getting clothes. Sure they’re nice and appreciated but where’s the remote control car that can go off-road? Where’s the new video games? Where is the Pony that you’ve been asking for, for the past 5 years?

I’ve heard about this program in the past, but the beta version is out now and it looks like if it’s used properly, could change the way we write papers.
I’ve always dreamt of a program where people could work together and at the same time. In the past it was e-mail, which was slow because the receiver would have to check their e-mail, download the document, and then make their edits. Resave the document, e-mail people back and so on.
Now with Google Writely, not just one or two people, but entire groups can collaborate on a paper at the same time.
Imagine this. Let’s say you are brainstorming a business idea with 3 coworkers. You could all be having a video conference and discuss things, or you could be in a chat room and be talking about things, while you’re also writing the plan down on Writely. Then everyone can see the paper as it’s being written and make any edits they want as the paper is written.
If someone gets stuck on a certain part, someone else can just kick in without missing a beat. People can work on different parts of the same paper at once.
It’s like mixing an IM conversation with a word document, except extremely efficient and easy to use.
