Yesterday I was off on a mission to the W hotel so I could buy a flask.
I was a block away from my destination when the street was blocked off. They were shooting a scene for The Dark Knight.
I couldn’t see very clearly, but there was a podium in the middle of the street, and a lot of police officers in their dress uniforms for the crowd. I would believe it was either the Police Commissioner, the Mayor, or Harvey Dent giving the speech, probably a combination of the three. It was really cool to see, and it was only a few blocks away from my place. It was a gorgeous afternoon and the street they chose was surrounded by enormous buildings. It’s going to look great when the movie comes out sometime in 2008.

So I’m all moved into my apartment and it rocks.
Still have some boxes to unpack but for the most part I’m all moved in. I’ll put up some pictures in a couple of days, but for now I must continue studying.
