Had a good weekend. Wish it could have been longer. Just gotta make it through another week of tortorous work but it shouldn’t be that bad. Day at a time, ya know?

Today I’ve been feeling a little bit under the weather, but it’s just recovery from last night at Pat O’s downtown. It was a fun night and there will be more of them coming up. I wish I could write more but I’m exhausted and it’s about time for bed if I want to be able to function tomorrow. Adios.

So it’s Friday, been a long week. What all has happened this week?

• Worked
• Worked some more
• Had dinner plans get canceled
• Got a Phone #
• Hung out with an old friend
• Felt sorry about myself
• Felt great about myself

Ok, now that we covered all of that…. It’s only 10:12 in the morning and I’ve got the entire rest of the day to go, which sucks because… well it’s Friday. I want to go home. I don’t have any real plans for tonight, but tomorrow night I’m hitting up Beale with the bro. Yeah I said bro, so sue me. Actually don’t. I have no money to be sued for.

That is all.

Today has been a good day. Which is always good after having a bad day.

Never let a bad day roll into a bad couple of days over one thing. One item is only alloted one day for being bad.

I’m looking forward to this weekend, very much so.

I run on average about 6 hours of sleep a night. Sure there are people that claim to get like 3-4 hours of sleep a night, I’ve had those late nights every now and again, but I think most of the people that sleep so little, don’t have jobs. It’s easy to not sleep when you don’t work, of course it’s also stupid.

Sleep is awesome. I love it. I could use more of it. I just can’t sacrifice anymore of my day to do it more often, with the exception of the weekend. I’ll sleep 8-10 hours a night on those days.

And that has been a completely random post about sleep.

Onto something a bit more serious. I was supposed to go have dinner with Sara tonight, which is the first time I would have seen her since we broke up last week. Honestly, while I was nervous about going, I was looking forward to it. Anyways she pushed it back til like 8:00 since she had to go visit a friend who was in town for this one day. [fishy] Then she calls me on my way home from work which I hesitated to answer but she asked if she could get a raincheck because most likely she won’t be done in time. I told her to just let me know later if she can’t make it and we could discuss it then.

Of course I wanna see her, but I don’t want to make plans just to be canceled on. Therefore is it better to just not ever hang out with her or to keep putting myself on the line? They both are crappy options. I don’t know who her friend is that’s in town but after what we just went through I would hope that plans with me would be more of a priority. I guess it’s just a continueing trend of me being put AFTER everything else going on in her life. I think sometimes she does it just to remind herself that she can’t make me important. I need to be done feeling sorry for myself.

In time all pain heals.

So I was googling around for potential places to apply. I found this great small advertising firm in Chicago that seems really upbeat, casual, and most importantly creative. Their methods of applying are a bit more intricate than just sending in a resume, which is great because if they like me, they’ll know they like me from how I write. I’m going to work on my application letter tonight, and hopefully have it in by the end of the week.

It would be fun to move to Chicago.

Could telling a girl that you love her get her to change her religion? Does she deserve to hear the words, or are some things better left unsaid? I’m sure she knows thats what I’m thinking but would me saying it, change anything? Beside breaking something that is already broken a bit more.

Would it even make a difference?

I don’t know if I want to know the answer to that question.

I’m feeling fiesty today so I’m gonna write a second blog.

I have a few things I need to work on in my blog posts, such as linking to other blogs. That’s one of the best ways to get more readers and to keep people moving around the internet. I keep reminding myself to do it, but I don’t feel like searching for links to put in my blog posts. I’m going to make a better effort at this, maybe one day I’ll be as good as a blogger as the Scobleizer.

Also, creativity and inspiration doesn’t work too well for me in a cubicle. I need freedom of thought, and movement. I get my best ideas when I’m not at work. I also enjoy group collaberations. Brain storming with other people who are equally motivated and often bring the talents to the table that I alone do not posess. One great example is my Halo clan. I spend more time on our website and forum than I do playing the game with them. They have become my family and a great set of friends. Doesn’t make up for real life friends, [I have 3 in the clan] but it helps on those week day evenings when I’m staying in. Check them out. TTL Gunslingers

I’m not meant to work a regular job for the rest of my life. I’ve always had the ideas of bigger and better things. I’ve always wanted to be my own boss. Am I ready for that right now? Not yet, but I am brainstorming ideas and trying to start my own business. I wish I could work on my habits and stop procrastinating but progress is being made and anyone who’s heard the idea loves it and thinks it’s awesome. One day, I’ll be the boss, the CEO, the big kahuna. Until then, the cube life I will lead.
